Coin Collecting

Ever since I can remember, I've been a collecting fanatic with rocks and coins. Though I don't have very many of either (lol), I still love to see the how cultures differso much from one another in currency, and how rocks found in one spot are grey when other rocks less than 4 miles away from each other are green! I've found several different kinds of rocks and minerals such as quarts, geodes, coal, lava, talc, and some topaz. It's fun stuff. Currencies include anything from rupees, francs, ans shillings to pesos, pisos, and pence. If you have any minerals or currency from anywhere (preferably foreign but some american is fun), mail me at drewbiedu@yahoo.com.

Sheet Music

It's taken me months to find good, free piano sheet music, and as I started searching for some here on blogspot, I was in awe to see the selection from a single user! There's tons of sheet music from most artists with well-played piano, which is just about all of them. There was, however, a short in music by Journey, namely Faithfully. Hopefully even more music will come in soon from the user. The blog for this person is my-piano.blogspot.com. Be sure to visit and leave your comments as always!

Pecimistic News-People

Why are journalists, anchormen, and every other news-related people so pecimistic? I think it has to do with their family lives. Nobody likes news-people...they don't know what the crap is REALLY going on. They say they go down to Iraq to view the fighting. What about the peace? Why can't they ever show the good side in the war on terror? Oh, I know, because it's terror, right? Oh ya, let me tell ya. Of course, when they do documentaries on cancer and other diseases, it's ALWAYS the good stuff, like who survived. If it's who died, they show how much everybody loved and cherrished them. I'm not saying that's bad, I love hearing how people survive through such heartbreaking experiences. I'm just saying, why can't there be a good side to everything?
By the way, happy New Years!

Another Day

Yet another vacation day from school...what a dissappointment. I'm starting to miss school ONLY because I have absolutely no social life away from it. Sad, isn't it? The closest friend of mine lives over 3 miles away. School's the only place I really get to hang out with anybody. Don't get me wrong or anything, school sucks, but there is absolutely NOTHING to do anywhere outside of it. Baseball really wheels in the excitement though. Taking a break from school on a roadtrip with people who aren't related to you is like going to Mesquite or St. George. The best part is playing in the summer after school lets out. Gotta love baseball!

School's one tough cookie, and it's one that doesn't taste so good. Have you ever wondered, "why can't they teach us the basics and stop there?" I think that each job should have a certain level of education required, not just high school diploma or bachelor's degree, but rather concept levels, like level 4 english or level 7 math. Please comment on what you think about this stuff...
